REVIEW! Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2 "We All Fall Down"

Here is my review for season 2 episode 2 of Fear The Walking Dead titled, "We All fall Down." This was honestly one of my favorite Fear The Walking Dead episodes up to date! It was very well-written and pieced together perfectly! I would even go as far as to say that it is on par with some Walking Dead episodes! The episode started off with a very cool intro of walkers getting out of the ocean water and walking towards children playing on the beach. It looks as if they are going to eat them, until we finally see that a gate is in between them. The children remind me of Lizzie and mika in TWD. It then transitions to Nick talking about the yacht logs and telling Strand that San Diego is destroyed. The group sees a light flicker and they travel onto an island to see who it was. They meet a man named George and his wife, along with three children. Travis chats with George as he explains that he is an anthropologist and loves the idea of living and dying together as a cohesive group. George's wife suspiciously asks Madison about kids as Nick and Alicia play with their children. The girl sings "Ring around the rosies" and asks Alicia what posies mean. She then tells the story about giving flowers to sick people to cure them, sort of giving a parallel to the situation of Fear The Walking Dead. The little boy then shows Nick his room and mentions something about taking a super pill to keep his family together. At first, I thought this reminded Nick of his addiciton problems, yet it was just another intelligent piece of the puzzle. The next day, we see Chris interact with the older son of the anthropologist as he kills some of the walkers at the fence with a pickaxe to release his frustration. Travis notices and they have some more conflict. I also shows a scene with Travis and George talking about his views on the situation and George gives his metaphor on mending the fence. After that, it shows George's wife finally admitting to Madison that she wanted someone to see her turning on the light so that she could get someone to take her kids with them. Meanwhile, it shows Nick looking for the "magic pills, in which he finally finds them in a globe. He talks to Travis and Madison about the poisonous pills and they go and try to take the kids with them. George notices and the little boy says that there is something wrong with his sister. His sister has swallowed the poison pill and the mother runs over to her as she turns into a zombie. She bites her mother and Madison takes the boy to the yacht. The older brother comes and takes him back, as he has to kill his zombie mother on the boardwalk, to protect his younger brother. This was a fantastic episode in my opinion!
