The path breaking "Absorb" Stent also called Bioresorbable Vascular Scaffold (BVS) was deployed at 7:33am on Thursday 20th Dec 2012 by Dr. V.T Shah and Dr S.V.Dagli at Surana Sethia Hospital, Bombay. It was a complex case of a 72yrs old male who had 10 yrs ago, undergone Bypass Surgery (CABGS) and now the Bypass grafts had failed in two of his major arteries.
