This song has it all. Rebellion, victory, attitude, sass - and an irresistible set of hooks that still fire the soul forty years after it was written and recorded. And it is universal - all kids all over the world just totally ache for the last day of school and exult when the bell rings. The kids' faces in the Photo Mashup say it all. Gotta love Alice Cooper. I have a vivid memory of my absolute last day in Junior School. There was a song which the kids would sing every summer in the last two weeks of school term. It was a countdown which would get sung every day - "Ten more days in school, ten more days or sorrow, ten more days in this old dump and we'll be out tomorrow!" Well, "ten more days" became "No more days" and I remember singing this in sheer unadulterated joy and stomping down stairs three at a time and bursting out through the big wooden doors into the playground and through the iron gates and into the sunshine summer heat of the street. End of my first eleven years to heaven. The walk back home never felt so sweet. No copyright infringement of song or images intended. Enjoy!
