The early morning snow Wednesday caused trouble on Baltimore-area roadways as all the major school districts in the area closed for the day. An overnight snow came down hard in Cockeysville, coating parking lots that hadn't been treated, accumulating about an inch of snow when it was all said and done. Crews up and down York Road spent the morning spreading salt, but it didn't take long before even heavily traveled secondary roads became snow-covered, making for slippery conditions.
