The short of it is that Gigas has awful movement in general, so in most poking situations you're he is forced to guess between mid and low pokes without sidestepping as an option. To compensate, he does have a ton of range on a lot of his moves, and he does have one of the best jab punishers in the game in his 1, 2, but unless you really like the character's design or movelist, I would not recommend him.
