US terror alerts : credible threats or CIA tactics ? As the US embassies and official buildings remain closed throughouth the Middle East, many interrogations rise to justify this rather radical move of the Obama Administration. According to our correspondant and the analysts and representatives he interrogated, the closure is to be pursued all week due to "an abundance of caution", in order to prevent "the most credible threat in years". These threats, originating more likely from Al-Qaeda, arrive in a dreadful moment, full of anniversaries : 1998 bombing of the US embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, for instance. According to the journalist, this move, appearing drastic to some, can be seen as a manner for the American intel agencies to take away some bad headlines right after the Snowden mix up.
