C: Steve Goodman (1987) My favorite Christmas song of my entire life! I covered this song from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and, because I'm a Coloradan myself, this song has touched me ever since the first time I heard it on the radio. Having Christmas in Colorado is, absolutely, "the closest thing to heaven on this planet anywhere"! It means a lot to me and it will go on and on touching me. I really owe Mr. Goodman a vow of thanks!
