I suppose you have to be really old to remember the pop song - Ferry Cross the Mersey? Was it Gerry and the Pacemakers? Hey, ho, happy days! This isn't the Mersey it's a much more interesting river, being bigger and deeper in the countryside, and having some work traffic. Not as much as it used to be - when I first saw it, back in '79 the traffic was incessant! The Ferry is at Wijhe, Overijssel for those who know the area (Hi Hans!) Filmed in Holland.
