Halley Murray - Excavation - (Opening Vegan BQQ - LaDIYfest Berlin 2013) 15.08.1013 lyrics: My favorite quote's on a bathroom stall that I found when I was alone it says "don't give up before you've even started" they're words I'd like not to forget when the state of the world seems hopeless so don't give up before you've even started In a million years, if we all survive or even if we don't, it will still be there: a layer of concrete beneath the soil a rock that's made of streets and government buildings One day they'll fall down torn apart brick by brick it can't last forever this system of capitalism we can make changes tear apart our own walls we have to start now we have to start now... Our future ancestors will all be appalled read the trauma on every tree they could smell our oppression, our sorrow, our sadness inside of our chemical bones the piles of pollution, junk yards filled with cars and they'll wonder just how we could live like this? The earth was in overdrive, how could we ever survive lest we learn how to smash the walls? One day they'll fall down torn apart brick by brick it can't last forever this system of capitalism we can make changes tear apart our own walls we have to start now we have to start now So don't give up before you've even started don't give up before you've even started don't give up before you've even started don't give up before you've even started
