I recently took a road trip out west from Phoenix, Arizona to Palm Springs, California with a good friend. Joshua Tree National Park is less than an hour from Palm Springs and it's a must-see. If you go there please be aware that there is no cell phone service within the Park or places to buy water. Plan accordingly and enjoy. We sure did!
