A two-day event ‘Makkala Habba’ was celebrated recently at Cubbon park to mark the Children’s Day. Organised by the Karnataka government, the event turned out to be a fun experience for children and their parents. United Way Bangalore had recreated a village to expose children to traditional ways of life. It came with two grandmothers sitting under a hut waiting to spark your imagination with stories.
