With over 25 years of experience as a TEACHER, an EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT, and a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER, Usha Vekatesh has contributed significantly to the field of education in the state through her innovative ideas which directly influence the students, teachers and parents. In 1989, she founded KIDS HOUSE - a nursery school for pre-kindergarden students. The institution has now developed into BRIGHTLAND DISCOVERY SCHOOL, which is one of the most sought after schools in the state. She is an advocate of the EDUCATIONAL TRILOGY - synergy of students, teachers and parents for a new paradigm shift in early childhood education.

She has been conferred various awards and recognitions in Kerala and the rest of the nation for her contributions. Both print media and visual media (Television programs) recognized her contributions and featured all over the country and abroad.
