Thirty-three firefighter recruits ended their first week at the Tucson Fire Department Academy, located at 10001 S. Wilmot Road, by taking part in mud bog. The recruits must walk through 1.5 to 2 feet of deep mud, with a hose at full blast while advancing towards a target. Each recruit took a turn while others cheered them on.
