I hadn't forgotten about this. I just wanted to take a break from Crash after finishing up all of my Platinum Relic Time Trials for Crash 2. Also, Spyro Reignited Trilogy is nearing its release at this point. I though it would be fun to start uploading Crash and Spyro videos together again.

Time Trials debuted in Crash 3, but in the N. Sane Trilogy, Time Trials were also added to both Crash 1 and 2. Crash 2 also has the additional benefit of how it now allows you to use the Crash Dash/Speed Shoes after beating Cortex, which makes it easier to get Relics in Crash 2.

Crash 1 Time Trials, especially if you're after all of the Platinum Relics, are what's gonna REALLY separate the men from the boys. That's what I've worked on, here, but god, it was not at all easy.

Unlike N. Sane Trilogy's Crash 2, Crash 1 WILL NOT EVER give you the Speed Shoes/Crash Dash. This is all on top of how Crash 1 doesn't have any Circle actions, most importantly, no slide. In Crash 1, all you have to rely on for Time Trials is your natural ability to run, jump, spin enemies, and break crates. Nothing more.

Make every second count. Some of Crash 1's levels are among the hardest in the entire trilogy, and to run through them for a Relic, let alone a Platinum Relic... Eeeeeeh... I wouldn't want to do this again...

N. Sanity Beach is rather tame, at least. I just suggest jumping over the first steep hills and bouncing on the Time Crates to skip some of the stairs faster.

You normally can’t play as Coco this early. So when you do unlock her for Crash 1 and go back to this level, she’ll have this cute animation where she stands up and waves at you.
