Rugby Fever at the Springbok Experience Museum

For heritage day, we thought we'd pay tribute to the sport that brings us all together, and with world cup fever well under way, Jade made her way to The Springbok Experience Museum for a truly South African experience.

Throughout the museum we step into a bit of SA history, from Joel Stransky’s boots, Francois Pienaa's famed number 6 jersey, to the significance of the springbok emblem.
This is a legacy that began in the 1860's and charts how The Springbok became a symbol of the character traits our finest sports talents possess.

Among the familiar faces that joined us at the interactive museum, we were honoured to be joined by former SARU captain Piet Jooste, a lighthouse of a lock through the 70's, 80's and now convener of selectors for the Springboks.

The over-riding impression from our time at the museum is that the Springboks have beaten challenging times before and over a braai outside, the consensus was that with the right plan, this year we can do it again.
