This album was recorded at the Heim Foundation Museum in Geneva-Switzerland during the first quarter of the year 2011... It features Alexei Levin playing the Grande Piano and mouth-harps and Daniel Waples playing across three hand pans (PanArt, BEllArt, SPB) The concept for Crystal Waves was born from an improvisation on a live stage in India between Daniel Waples and Alexei Levin during the first days of the year 2011. Later in 2011, Waples was invited to Geneva, Switzerland, by Levin to record an album blending exemplary piano and three handpans all being played by Waples with scales that he had never used before. Crystal Waves carries a sublime message of peace and balance, and as much as it heals the mind, it also would appeal to classical music lovers.
