Wood is crucial for the Ghanaian export and economy. Through the UNIDO Project “Trade Capacity Building for Ghana” funded by the Swiss Confederation through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Ghana (MoTI), UNIDO implemented a project in Ghana to improve the quality and sustainability of the exported wood. From forest to export, this documentary follows the journey of wood in the country, showing how the TCB Ghana project worked on every step of the value chain to ensure that wood and wooden items are produced in a sustainable way meeting international standards in Ghana.
