Top Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi has met with  Russian President Vladimir Putin. Yang said this year marks a milestone for bilateral relations. He told Putin that Chinese President Xi Jinping encourages further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and China is willing to cooperate more for international security. President Putin said the partnership is important to the world and agreed that the two countries coordinate in international and regional security affairs.
