After driving the Subpressor vehicle in Carmageddon: Reincarnation for a long time, I found it has a habit of scoring a lot of points when run into certain fixed objects like guardrails, shipping containers, or bus stops. On other levels, it would also score tens of minutes of bonus time as well. Note the first time it scores over 10k points and sustains no damage. The second time it scores a lot more, 26k points, but only costs 1800 points to fix the damage sustained. Sorry the frame rate is so low - FRAPS is slowing things down even more than usual for this game.
