Crews Save Driver Stuck On Garage Ledge

Crews rescued a driver Monday night who was hanging over a ledge inside an airport parking garage.

A woman leaving the garage at Terminal A at Kansas City International Airport took a wrong turn and broke through a wire barrier. The low ceiling crushed the windshield and roof of her SUV.

The driver was not seriously injured. She refused treatment from medics at the scene.
