Did Priyanka Chopra replace Kareena Kapoor Khan in Gangaajal 2? The actress is playing the role of a cop in the film to be directed by Prakash Jha. She is going to be the hero of the film but will not have a romantic angle. The film is inspired by a real-life lady police officer from Madhya Pradesh and is most likely to be shot in Bhopal and Hosangabad instead of Wai, where most of Gangaajal was shot in 2003. Ajay Devgn, who has not got a chance to work with Priyanka Chopra, may make a guest appearance in it. He has already agreed to present the film along with Jha. The first schedule of the film has begun in Bhopal, Prakash Jha tweeted, `streets in Chowk Bazar, Bhopal.. Gangaajal 2 locations! Joined the Bilal Band Party!!'' It maybe also be noted that Priyanka Chopra was also approached for Udta Punjab, which she refused because of other commitments. Kareena Kapoor is doing that film now.
