Tour Scotland video of part of a February afternoon drive on a narrow Scottish road on ancestry visit to Aberdalgie, Perthshire. After very heavy rain there was a lot of surface water on the road. Aberdalgie is the area where the Medieval heads of Clan Oliphant are buried. Prominent among them is Sir William Oliphant, the resolute Governor of Stirling Castle when in 1304 it held out longer than any other against Edward I of England, during the Wars of Scottish Independence. Also buried here are Sir William's son, Sir Walter Oliphant, and his wife, Princess Elizabeth, the youngest daughter of King Robert the Bruce.
