I definitely get a C- for this video. A friend of mine told me last minute about the eclipse of Aldebaran and I just barely got my camera set up in time. Unfortunately for the first shot, as the moon descended, a tree happened to get in the way. It is interesting how the star blinks out, but I was filming at only 2fps, exposing for some detail in the dark portion of the moon. The second clip, about 45 minutes later was filmed at 11fps. You can see it's de-eclipsing much better, but unfortunately it's slightly out of focus. This lens does not auto-focus. Hope you enjoy nonetheless!
