Titles read: 'London - Garden Fete in aid of wounded soldiers.' Shot of recuperating soldiers coming around side of building; some with casts or canes. Some men are in the usual recuperating uniform (medium-coloured trousers and jackets with white lapels), others are in military uniform. Side view of a band sitting on chairs outdoors; playing music. Fade into shot of young women on the grass, dancing waltz in clown-like costumes; with huge ruffs. Next a silly funny contest of RAF man trying to balance walking across a pole or log; carrying a little parasol - he loses his balance and starts spinning around waving the parasol; as crowd laughs. Another man tries; and falls over. Then a little girl dressed in Scottish kilt; etc. seems to have won something; she poses triumphantly with arms raised; in front of a cheering and waving crowd of other kids; clowns; wounded soldiers etc. and flags hanging above everyone.
