भगोड़े शराब कारोबारी विजय माल्या की रविवार को ओवल क्रिकेट मैदान के बाहर भारतीय फैंस ने जमकर हूटिंग की। 61 वर्षीय माल्या को स्टेडियम के अंदर जाता देख भीड़ ‘देखो चोर गया चोर’ और ‘चोर-चोर’ चिल्लाने लगी। हालांकि इस हूटिंग से बुरी तरह झेंपे माल्या ने कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं दी। माल्या भारत और दक्षिण अफ्रीका के बीच चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी का मैच देखने पहुंचे थे। उन पर भारतीय बैंकों की 9,000 करोड़ की देनदारी है। वह मार्च 2016 को भारत से भाग गए थे। भारत सरकार ब्रिटेन से माल्या के प्रत्यर्पण का प्रयास कर रही है। इस मामले में वेस्टमिंस्टर मजिस्ट्रेट की अदालत में सुनवाई होनी है।
