Hello fellow travelers, I have compiled a list of some of the bare essentials I would suggest you bring on if you plan on traveling to Thailand. The only items I have listed here are items I have had difficulty finding around Chiang Mai in my two months of living and traveling in Thailand. While mosquitoes and bug bites haven't been a huge issue for me while I have been traveling in Southeast Asia I would definitely recommend pants and long sleeves if you plan on adventuring through the jungle or any remote area of Thailand.  

When putting together this list I have tried to be as budget conscious as possible for you guys since many of the items on this list can be found for cheaper in Thailand but with questionable quality and craftsmanship.

Here is the Ultimate Minimalist Packing Guide To Thailand:
- Chacos, Vibrams, any type of durable quick drying footwear
- Moisture wicking and breathable hiking pants
- Long sleeve safari shirt
- Some type of big hat 
- 1 Pair of closed toe shoes if you plan to learn to ride a motorcycle 
- Fanny Pack
- A Buff or something similar
- Collapsible water bottle
- Boardshorts
