A lime pip sitting at the bottom of a glass of sparkling water.
As the bubbles attach to the pip it gains buoyancy and the pip rises.
Once the pip rises to the top the bubbles burst and the buoyancy is lost leaving the pip to sink.
This happened over and over again until the sparkling water lost carbonation.
