We all know that white pants or jeans are a good summer basic, but how do you know which pair suits you best and how do you go about finding it?  In this video I take you with me shopping in New York for my perfect pair of white jeans and I give you tips on how to shop for yours.

1. Make sure to wear the right underwear when shopping for the perfect pair of white jeans or white pants.  Wear nude underwear or the kind of underwear you are likely to wear with the pant you are buying.  This makes a big difference when you try them on.  You will have a better idea of what they really look like with the right underwear.

2. Do some research online before hitting the stores.  This is really easy if you have an idea of what kind of style white jeans or white pants you are looking for.  

3. Try on a bunch of styles.  If you are not sure which suits you best, then be prepared to try on a variety of styles till you find your perfect one. 

4.  If you do find your perfect pair, check online to make sure the price is the same.  Sometimes you can get them cheaper online.

5.  Don't be afraid of sizing.  Sizes vary greatly depending on the cut and fabric.  If you have to go up or down a size, whatever you do, rather choose one that fits you best.
