There is nothing wrong withy door. If something "becomes wrong" with it I will know why. Before Thanksgiving because of all of the criminal activity and being advised by the landlord that the police could not be called. I reinforced the glass on my door leading to the main area on the portion with the slide releases so that I may tell if it has been tampered with as my window and other things have been tampered with in the past.  His remedy to that was to ensure nothing in window and if police were called would be asked to leave. Prior criminal activity included robberies, domestic violence, and drug distribution.  I stay in my room and mind my business and keep my earplugs in as much as possible.  It has quieted down a lot with the arrival of the new young lady that did spoke firmly, reasonably, and directly to the persons involved in criminal activity and admonished them for bringing trouble to the house. Kudos to her...however, the landlord, who is renting from an owner and renting 5 units in a 3 bedroom house at at least $500/month each has some issues with professionalism, responsibility, maturity, self-esteem, and separating personal from professional.
