This week: Mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë The mayors of Europe's capitals are the movers and shakers of the European metropoles. Yury Luzhkov, who has served as mayor of Moscow for the past sixteen years, is the undisputed king of his city. And Boris Johnson has promised to make London a safer place to live. His Berlin counterpart Klaus Wowereit responded to his city's budget crisis by saying, "We are poor but sexy." In the third part of our series, we present Bertrand Delanoë. The mayor of Paris has made environment a priority in Paris. He plans to fight pollution with traffic-free days and water taxis.
