Here are all 5 heats of the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles from the 2018 CIF (Southern Section) Division 4 Track and Field Prelims meet held on May 12, 2018 at Carpinteria High School in Carpinteria, California.

Commentary:  None of the heats are tight except for Heat 3 at the end.  300 meters is a long way when you're jumping over stuff and Heat 3 makes that clear.  Heat 1 features the state's runner-up in Triple Jump.  Heat 2 has the frosh who captures the D4 crown the following week.  She PRs here and then again the following week.
