PNG Power signs Agreement to have Hydro Power Facilities Upgraded

Work on upgrading Infrastructure at Yonki and Warangoi Hydro Power facilities in the country will commence immediately, with PNG Power signing agreements to effect this. According to PPL Acting Managing Director Carolyn Blacklock, the work at these two facilities will see an additional 18 megawatts of power supplied into the Ramu grid, and 10 megawatts into the Kokopo grid.
