Hey friends! Hope ya'll enjoy my cover of "Before The Throne." This is one of my favorite hymns of all time :). Such gospel-rich lyrics and beautifully structured. Being a worship leader at my church, I've used this hymn quite a few times in my own sets when leading worship for the congregation. As I said earlier in the video, yes I am a Christian. I don't think I've ever came out and said it out loud here on Youtube in that kind of straight forward way before (with the exception of the "peace and God bless" tag at the end of my videos....if that even counts lol). It's not that I was ashamed of professing my faith on here or anything, it's just that until recently, I've always felt that words aren't always necessary and actions should always speak louder than words. But lately I've been realizing that words are very necessary when it comes to TELLING people about the gospel, my God, and my faith.

I've been a Christian for about 9 years now. In my 25 years of life, I've come to find, in my own personal convictions, that yes, there is a God. I do believe that Jesus Christ was God in human form who came down and lived the perfect life that we never could because of our sinful nature. He died in our place so that we may have a way to the Father God in heaven and be able to live eternally in His presence even after physical death.

I do believe that if we claim to be believers and followers of Christ, our mission in life is to glorify our all powerful, amazing, loving, and merciful God. I'm not trying to turn anyone off with all this "churchy talk," but I feel I have a duty to tell you guys about who this Jesus is and just who is this God that I serve. If you are not a believer, I strongly encourage you to look into who this Jesus is. 

And for all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I hope this vid/description serves as an encouragement to you all. As time goes on, it's getting harder and harder to profess our faith. Christianity takes a lot of flack. It always has. But at times, for understandable reasons. There have been people out there who distort the image of God and try to show that picture to the world who may not know anything of Him. It honestly just becomes a turnoff and people flee from it as fast as they can. I'm very sure I have been in that category of "Christians" at some point in my walk with Christ and from the bottom of my heart, if I've ever turned off anyone to God through my actions or lack of wisdom, that's on me and I truly apologize. I am still a human being. I have flaws and make mistakes. This is why I NEED a Savior. He is so good and so full of grace and love. More than I could ever show myself.

To my brothers and sisters in Christ, I urge you all to stay strong, take courage, and keep the faith. Don't stop fighting the good fight. I strongly feel that a lot of things are gonna change real fast worldwide. Even in America, I already see it happening in our culture. Do not fear, for the Lord is our strength.
