LEMOORE, California - A man was shot multiple times at a Kings County casino late Friday night, deputies say.

Just before midnight, a fight broke out between several people, including 21-year-old Jose Francisco Leon and Alfonso Gonzalez at Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino, says a Kings County Sheriff's Office news release.

The casino is about six miles from downtown Lemoore.

Casino security officers tried to break up the fight, but deputies say the men fought them off.
