Leader of Assembly Business in the Tobago House of Assembly, Kwesi Des Vignes, is urging Tobagonians to take full advantage of the opportunities afforded to them. Speaking at an End of Year Press Briefing of the PNM Tobago Council on Wednesday, Mr. Des Vignes, who also serves as Secretary of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment, rejected the view that Tobagonians were incapable or unwilling to work. He outlined however, that encouraging certification in the trades remains a challenge. Meanwhile, Assemblyman in the Tobago House of Assembly, Wendell Berkley, expressed gratitude that unemployment in Tobago remained relatively low in the midst of the economic challenges.
