The A side contains the original track of Manuel Di Martino called "Necessary Phase", engaging groove and hypnotic synth are the right adjectives to describe this track. Volk’s remix is inspired to the New York Techno scene with stomp drum, raw groove and marked synth. Side B open with "Substance" by Asylum, this track contains dark and closed sounds, a real trip into shadows. Jeff Rushin revisits this creating a very functional tool, and especially the right mix of dark and dancefloor's sounds.
