Minority and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan reacted over the cabinet expansion issue and said that he had no issues if his portfolio is changed or if his name is dropped during the cabinet expansion on December 22. Zameer Ahmed Khan said that he will abide by the High Command's decision .

However, Zameer Ahmed batted for 2 posts for the minority communities and said that the minorities community was one of the main reason for the party winning 80 seats.
