Tuesday was a perfect day for kayaking. Trish and I took the boats over to Seven Tree, paddled up the St. George, ate lunch on a rock on Round Pond, where we watched geese flying close overhead and landing nearby. Then up the St. George some more and literally paddled out onto the racetrack at the fairgrounds. Winter snow melting has the river running high enough to cover the fairgrounds. After that we paddled up stream, almost to the house, before the rush of the river wore us out and we rode the current back down. A perfect day.
