I go and take on the final dungeon in this part.  It's pretty long but there are shortcuts to take you back to the entrance pretty quick so those come in handy for going back for heals or just if you want to save.  The place isn't that hard really, mostly just have to get past all the high level enemys while keeping your MP at a decent level.  Sage's Stone does wonders for that.  Also alot of high level end game items around here.
