Just a quick rendering of movement in the revamped system for Project Drake. Movement now follows information from the 3D model's skeleton, which is exported with the rest of the animation in the custom sprite renderer. The game's logic then follows this movement path, rotating it to match the direction the player is going. Not interesting to look at, but this could be used for complex combat animations including leaps forward, cartwheels backs, and the character weaving left and right, all properly moving the character's hitbox as expected and affected by physics and collision handling.
