A name, a look, an attitude, many things define a woman, especially a woman like Zatanna Zatara. She and Bruce have history going back to when he was traveling the world. Her father trained to be an escape artist, and she was smitten with this stranger known only to her as John Smith at the time. She reappears in his life years later when performing solo in Gotham... Batman helps her clear her name after the trick backfires and she learns who this 'new' mysterious stranger is... she pulls a disappearing act of her own and they don't meet again on screen until the expansion of the Justice League. Bruce's run-in with Circe leaves Diana trapped in the form of a pig. She can't quite understand why he won't ask the rest of the League for help. She figures it out soon enough why and this is why she has this flashback to their prior encounters over the years.
