Part of Dance Umbrella 2018. Armed with a turntable, portable speakers and sheets of flooring, Irish dance’s most celebrated contemporary artist Colin Dunne takes on the ‘undanceable’ music of fiddle player Tommie Potts. Created in collaboration with Sinéad Rushe and Mel Mercier, Dunne draws on his extraordinary technique responding physically and percussively to Potts’ rhythmically deviant, richly textured tunes.
