Mark Parkinson is Director of The Shri Ram School, Delhi & Gurgaon. The school has 3 campuses, 4,000 students and around 380 teachers. It is one of the most highly regarded child-centric, progressive schools in the country. In 2009 it was declared the number one day school in the country by the C-fore/ Education World Survey, for the second year in a row.

A committed lifelong learnivore, he has lived and worked in South Asia for the last 11 years. Since choosing to move in to the educational field he has set up an International School in Ahmedabad and headed a large, highly reputed international school in Dhaka. He has done two programmes of the No Kidding TV series with NDTV. He has also been a visiting faculty in Business Communication Skills at IIM, Ahmedabad, Mudra Institute of Communications and Nirma Institute of Management and a training consultant to a number of schools and commercial organisations. 

Before coming to South Asia he accumulated a law degree, 11 years as a Senior Private Banker, some UK national debating competition victories and a year as President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce for London.
