WOODFIN, N.C. -- Victims and their family members of drunk driving accidents shared their stories in hopes of saving more lives during the Christmas season. The holiday Booze It and Lose It campaign kicked off at the AB Tech Law Enforcement Center in Woodfin, Friday. Law enforcement officers from across the mountains were there to commemorate the 20th year of the campaign. The new Booze It and Lose It website will feature a video series where victims open up about the consequences of drunk driving wrecks. "I really want to spread the word so that people will know I'm still here," Kurt Arias said, who was injured by a drunk driver.
