I never thought it would happen, but I actually hit a bird.



During a ride over the weekend, I hit a bird going about 60 MPH. I caught it out of the corner of my eye. It must have hit my bike first, then my leg, before flying off into birdie heaven. The bike suffered blood and guts, but both me and the Sportster got away without damage.

I absolutely am kicking myself for not having my camera on, but nothing I can do but give you my reenactment of exactly how it went down.
