Pabu had another play date with his best mate Kevin!! these two are hilarious together, though it was still extremely hot they were overheating a bit from being active so we would wet them down under the fountain which helped a lot :) - Bumi is harness trained, please understand that harness training is Not a stepping stone to free flight. They are polar opposites and using a harness can be extremely detrimental if free flight is the goal. It's not realistic or logical to expect every bird to free fly when they are not able to and or the owner is not in a position to do so. Harness training is a fantastic alternative and the birds that are harness trained look forward to wearing it due to the positive association with going outdoors. - Berrie is one of the ringnecks I hand reared who was given back to me. This was due to the owner who informed us she was in the know, read through all our materials prior to getting Berri did not think that owning x4 indoor cats would be an issue..... anyway no hate. but Berri is back with me, I decided I would free flight train him to give him more confidence. Which it certainly has :) - All new free flight birds are trained individually, please understand that new beginner birds display a flight pattern that native birds pick up on and generally results in chasing. It takes confidence for birds to fly down from heights and if in the event of being chased the confidence is just not there for new young fliers so trees are best. IMPORTANT to know that you are rarely the safest point, its my opinion that birds must learn natural skills and behaviours to ensure safety and success, utilising trees is one of them :) please read through www.adventuresofroku.com/Educational.php for further details. - **this is 1 day before Pabu lost his tail (explained on instagram)**
