It's very unconventional to tell a story as it is still unfolding. People always have the success stories of "I overcame" or "that was the past". But for me, this EP is something I'm living out as I type. But before the end of this year, I knew I had to take a leap of faith and leave this season behind, even though the residue of damage this season has left on me and my family is undeniably still seen.

For the the few of you that know me intimately, the sentiments expressed on this EP are nothing new for you. For the most of you that don't know me, understand that this is the beginning of me living my life in a way I always wanted to and in a way that is the most powerful: candidly, vulnerably and tied to Jesus. The months of me laying in bed and binge eating to try and delete depression are now being phrased. Though there is much reason to feel embarrassed, my certainty that this EP will help someone outweighs the shame.

The main reason it took 3 years to process a 6-track EP was because I took the helm of songwriter, producer, arranger, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, graphic designer, session musician and more! But it’s finally time to get this music out. So consider this a SOFT release. The EP is available for purchase on Bandcamp and will gradually be rolled out to streaming platforms as the holidays pass through. I hope you enjoy it.

Lastly, I dedicate this EP to my immediate family, who have weathered some severe storms as of late and thus inspire me to use my music to heal, strengthen and encourage! Let's do it! #InMyMindEP
