Election Day is just a week away. Since Governor Bev Perdue is not seeking reelection, North Carolina voters will choose a new leader for the state. The choices are Democratic Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton and the former mayor of Charlotte, Republican Pat McCrory. News 13 takes a closer look at where McCrory stands on issues important to Western North Carolina.McCory says team work is what helped him build Charlotte into the second largest banking hub in the country. He also says one economic fix is a college system that's better suited to putting people to work.
