LSRC #s 1169 & 801 Haul 50 cars southbound on the Huron Sub. This trackage was owed by the Detroit & Mackinac until 1995, when the LSRC was born. This my favorite view, as upuntil 2009 one could see 3 to 5 ALCOs spewing smoke as they pulled this train. The gravel comes from 2 companies, and the cement comes from LaFarge's Alpena plant. 2 GP-40-3s (1169 & 801) 39 Hoppers (Gravel) 11 Covered hoppers (cement) Filmed in Alpena, MI 6/27/11
