Stars Matt Damon / Morgan Freeman (Directed by Clint Eastwood)....Based around Nelson Mandela trying to revive the Springboks name/colors/team, in order to bring thousands closer, instead of the Africans holding a huge grudge against those who forced them out of their homes and into jails. Damon is inspired by Mandela and focuses on following Mandela's dream and forcing the team to change (while time has changed). Movie holds many deep, powerful themes/messagages that most people will appreciate. ALTHOUGH the movie can be slow and possibly drags on at points......OVERALL, i would have to reccomend this to those looking for a heartfelt story, that some (including myself) never knew about before. I myself loved the movie, everything about it actually...I never watch or care about Rugby, but it was great watching this movie play out, and made me respect the game of Rugby more than i ever have. THOSE looking for more history about Mandela wont find it here...THOSE looking for JUST a sports movie will not find it here...but THOSE looking for a movie with AMAZING acting, sure will find something great in this film. Matt Damon is on a roll, and i dont think he should stop.
